Lucy Clark, R(S), ABR

Lucy Aulani Clark is a native Hawaiian, born and raised in Kailua on the island of O’ahu, to a very old kama’aina family. Ms. Clark knows with every breath about the courage it takes to live on a rock - her grandfather and father were political leaders prior to and after Hawaii became the 50th state - courage runs through her veins! After 20+ years working in escrow and title on Oahu, (with ventures into commercial and residential leasing) six years ago Lucy transitioned into real estate sales and to the Big Island, a place she cherished from family vacations in Volcano as a child. It always comes back to the lava. Currently Lucy lives in upcountry Waimea, where she specializes in helping clients find the best location to suit their lifestyle - a task to which she is particularly well-suited given her wealth of personal knowledge and lifelong experience regarding island culture, business, variable climates, and community life. Malama ke ‘aina(to take care of the land) is a part of Lucy's heart and soul - in her "free" time she thoroughly enjoys working with native plants, hiking "secret" trails throughout the island, and collecting pohaku (stones) from around the world. Perhaps Lucy can best explain why it is permissible to bring stones from other places TO the Big Island, but very bad luck to carry lava away from our beautiful island home!

Dahl Young, R(S) - (808) 887-2500

Dahl Young is a Big Island girl! Born and raised in Hilo, Dahl is grateful and proud of her Big Island roots, but that’s not all she’s known. With a degree in Asian Studies from UH Manoa, Dahl traveled to Japan on a student exchange program and then lived on Oahu for 14 years before returning to the Big Island to raise her family in Kamuela. “I wanted my kids to experience the same laid-back and relaxed lifestyle that I enjoyed as a child,” Dahl says with quiet confidence. Real Estate has always been a true passion for Dahl - weekends being an opportunity to cruise through open houses and keep an eye on the market. “My mother always encouraged me to pursue this business because she felt my love for real estate coupled with the patience I have while working with many different personalities would be a perfect combination for success.” When her mother passed away, Dahl finally understood the importance of living a meaningful life every day, and thus began a new career as a full-time Realtor with her inheritance. That’s courage! Focused on the business of helping Sellers and Buyers with ho’okupono and a work ethic that would make her mother proud, Dahl is every bit the success her mother had always imagined she’d be.
